Brandon J. Golder MA, MBA has almost a decade of management experience in both the non-profit and for-profit/private equity environments. His assertive leadership style has demonstrated the ability to effectively communicate initiatives providing significant business and community impact. Brandon has a true passion for people and particularly the substance abuse community. He feels passionate about leading the healthcare professionals at Pyramid Healthcare to maintain a high quality of care while serving the state of Maryland (and beyond). When Brandon is not helping lead a diverse group of highly skilled professionals, he enjoys spending time with his family and keeping track of domestic and international healthcare news.

Jessica Jolly is Outpatient Director for Walden.  She is a Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical with additional training from the Maryland Center of Excellence on Problem Gambling, the International Association of Trauma Professionals, and FEMA Emergency Institute. Prior to moving into her role as Outpatient Director, Ms. Jolly served Walden in a variety of roles, including Clinical Outpatient Manager, Behavioral Health Therapist, and Lead Addictions Counselor (residential.) Ms. Jolly also brings her previous work experience as a psychotherapist and in supportive roles with young people with disabilities to the Walden team. She is a past board member of the National Association of Social Workers Maryland Chapter.

Larnique Sugick joined the team as Residential Director in March 2020. Her background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, a Masters in Health Services Administration and, as of June 2020, a Doctorate in Health Sciences from Nova Southeastern University. In addition to her educational background, Larnique has over 10 years of professional training and work experience in clinical and administrative roles. Her practice management experiences stem from service in various healthcare settings, including assisted and independent living facilities, hospitals, and behavioral healthcare agencies. Larnique’s objective is to maintain positive and long-lasting relationships with staff and ensure quality healthcare services for each and every client that we serve.

Daureen Pepiot

Daureen Pepiot has been serving as Director of Nursing for Pyramid’s Maryland region since May of 2019. A Registered Nurse, Daureen provides direct and indirect support and management to nurse managers and nursing personnel in Walden’s treatment programs. Our medical team joins the entire Walden team in a commitment utilizing evidence-based practice, regulations, and performance improvement to guide clinical decisions.

Daureen’s career has spanned over 25 years in the medical field, coming up through the ranks first as a medical assistant. Professional experiences include nurse manager/supervisory, quality and compliance monitoring, and medical family practice roles. As a community member, Daureen has been active as a volunteer with the American Lung Association, Nurses on Boards Coalition, and in her faith community.

Daureen earned her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing at the University of Maryland Global Campus.

George A. Plesniak is the Program Director at Walden in Harford County. George holds a Master of Science degree in Counseling and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from California University in Pennsylvania. George also holds several other credentials including a Certified Addictions Counselor – Alcohol and Drugs. George has over twenty years of experience working in the addictions field in the areas of program development, clinical oversight, and quality management.

Laura Stewart Webb works with Walden’s grant-funded and community initiatives centered largely around our commitment to Recovery-Oriented Systems of Care. Her service at Walden has also included management and service leadership roles throughout our continuum. Laura is especially involved in the creation, implementation, and operations of Walden’s peer support, adult recovery community center and adolescent clubhouse programs. She has also active in multiple new or enhanced initiatives into the community in areas such as integrated and trauma-informed care.

Laura earned her Bachelor’s from the University of North Carolina-Wilmington and did her Master’s work in Adult and Community Education at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Prior to joining Walden in 2009, Laura worked in a Georgia-based continuum of care serving individuals impacted by homelessness. She has also worked in the adult literacy field and served in the United States Army.

Debby has been in the behavioral healthcare field since 1983 and with Pyramid Healthcare for over 10 years. She holds a Master’s of Business Administration from Saint Francis University and undergraduate degrees from Penn State University and Saint Francis University in Health Sciences and Organizational Leadership. Over her years in the field, Debby has served in various leadership capacities in the areas of operations, admissions, marketing and outreach. Her passion is in educating community partners, individuals and families about appropriate behavioral healthcare services, and collaborating to build healthier communities while improving access to care.
