“Recovery Benefits Everyone” was the theme chosen by SAMHSA for this September’s National Addictive Disease Recovery Month. At Walden, we couldn’t agree more. The ultimate outcome of all of our programs, services, and community efforts is recovery. We believe that a lived experience in recovery is possible for those impacted by addictive disease, trauma and/or mental illness. Many individuals who are seeking recovery have loved ones, employers and friends who also stand to benefit greatly when recovery is going well. At Walden each September, we celebrate with community members and their loved ones who have accessed our services as part of their recovery journey at the annual Friends and Alumni Picnic.
Congratulations and thank you for committing to recovery to the 100 folks who came to this event!
